Security Architect - On-site

Job Description

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Security Architect. This is a 1-year <strong> On-site </strong> contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. This role is with one of our public sector clients located in Regina, Saskatchewan. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full background check and provide 2 employment references. <br><strong> The Security Architect will have the following responsibilities: </strong><br><ul><li> Assist with the delivery of the security solution design based on business, operational, technical and security requirements, as well as IT strategies <br></li><li> Participate in all phases of the solution development life cycle to implement the required information technology, adding technical know-how, creativity and a seasoned perspective to initiatives and teams <br></li><li> Assist with the facilitation of the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations and their implementation and migration into operations <br></li><li> Research and monitor technology developments and industry trends; assess their applicability, functionality and reliability for the client and recommend technologies that will enhance productivity and the achievement of clients' business objectives <br></li><li> Research and monitor security threats as they evolve in the industry and assess their impact on current security technologies and processes <br></li><li> Contribute to the development of the overall Cyber Security Solution Architecture processes, tools, standards and templates <br></li><li> Support the creation of solutions that meet the Cyber Security Program's strategic and tactical objectives while adhering to enterprise architecture and standards <br></li><li> Contribute to the integration of services, data flow and infrastructure architectures and ensure they are designed to meet evolving business/operational requirements and standards for reliability, scalability, and availability <br></li><li> Assist with ensuring that the chosen solutions are closely aligned with the client's cybersecurity initiatives and vision including securing of cloud-based solutions <br></li><li> Other activities and deliverables, as required <br></li></ul><strong> The Security Architect must meet the following mandatory requirements: </strong><br><ul><li> Must have a university degree or college diploma in computer science, IT engineering, or cyber security; <br></li><li> Must have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in a Cyber Security role in organizations using various high-availability solutions; <br></li><li> Must have a minimum of ten (5) years of recent relevant work experience in the IT field; <br></li><li> Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing solutions architecture; <br></li><li> Must have a minimum of five (5) years of IT security experience; <br></li><li> Must have experience in the development and application of security policies and security technical standard; <br></li><li> Must have experience with different architecture and design techniques (e.g., object-oriented, top down, structured analysis and component-based design) and tools; <br></li><li> Must have demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of security solutions; <br></li></ul> If you are interested in applying to our <strong> Security Architect </strong> , please submit your resume as soon as possible by clicking on the 'Apply with Adecco' button. <br>CAB7616<br> @@j <br> <br></br><br>
